Each night, the hotel we stay at in Avila Beach (Avila La Fonda) puts out a 'manager's reception' of delicious snacks and wine. On Thursday, they dressed up the cheese to look like one of the ghosts from Pacman:

On day #3, it rained the entire day. There was little else we could do but wine taste. One of the most interesting wineries of the day was the Kelsey Vineyards in See Canyon (Avila Beach), where there were over 50 peacocks. Yes, 50. And they are LOUD:

On day #2, we hopped aboard an Amtrak Pacific Surfliner and headed north to Central Coast for a week of wine tasting. This is one of the many beautiful views along the ride, which goes right up the coast:
